This is a beautiful campground just north of Monroeville. It has sites on the Alabama River and on a creek. It has two bath houses that are really clean. It also has a lot of activities for children; a playground, basketball court, and volleyball set-up, but bring your own balls. It has level concrete pads and large lots and some have attached piers. We will camp here again!

A beautiful campground. We stayed 2 nights and wish we could of stayed longer. . .the sunsets were magnificant!! It was a quiet campground and the hosts were friendly. The restroom/shower facilities were very clean. Down the road towards Demopolis, Mr. Bird has really strange/cool "yard-art" in his field . . .we stopped and photographed it. We would camp here again!!

This is a newer campground. We loved it. The bathroom/shower facilities were very clean. Every site is a nice site. . . we could not really decide which one was the best! We are planning on coming back here soon!

We arrived late here (7:00ish), and they had our reservation written in their book for the next weekend, but they had a site open for us although it was not one with sewer. They do have a dump station so it was not a problem. Our site was on the edge of a big grassy field, and we had problems figuring out where to pull in, and had to go back to ask the owners to come and help us. This campground has a lot of seasonal/permanent campers. They also have a rule that you cannot walk your dog outside of your campsite boundary. They have a dog run, but you have to drive the dogs to the dog run. We stayed for one night, and for that it was not bad.

Although we did not camp on the water, we loved this campground! It is like camping under an umbrella of trees. It is very peaceful! Our site was 229, and we felt it was the best electric site in the campground. We had two picnic tables and a fire ring. We had enough room on our site to put up our bug tent around one of the picnic tables. Bathroom facilities were nice!

This is a nice campground, and it is in close proximity to fishing and a golf course. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean. The sites were large and had some privacy. Although the roads and pull-in areas were gravel it was an easy level. The reason I rate it an 8 is that we had to pay an additional $5 a day for our tow car.

We stayed in the loop that had electric (site 208) for 5 nights. This is a fabulous campground with very large, private sites right on the lake. The sunsets were wonderful, and we had deer at our site a couple of evenings!

When we stayed at this campground the bugs were horrible, but we came prepared with bug spray/lotion so they were tolerable. We stayed at a site facing the lake, and the sunsets were incredible! The campground has wonderful hiking trails and nice beaches. They have a beach for the dogs which is a nice idea so you can sit out on the beach and watch the sunset with your fur baby. Our site was very narrow so that we could not put our awning out. Most sites are this way because of the pine trees. It is very pretty here but not much privacy. Bathroom facilities were very nice and so was the visitors' center. We would camp here again!
